Balloon Stacks

Concept
These sculptures showcase plaster molded by balloons, revealing the form after removing the latex skin layer. The pigmented plaster is stacked one on top of the other, creating a layered and textured composition. Each stack represents a moment frozen in time, capturing the tension and resilience inherent in the human body. The use of balloons as molds metaphorically reflects our bodies as impressionable vessels, adaptable yet fragile under pressure. This artwork invites contemplation on the interplay between external forces and internal resilience, highlighting the beauty found in vulnerability and the enduring nature of human form.
